Delete your QuickSquad account
QuickSquad is made by Motho Cloud Services. This page explains how to delete your QuickSquad account and everything stored with it.
The quickest way is in the app
- Open QuickSquad and sign in.
- Tap your avatar in the top bar, then Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account and your data are removed straight away, and the app returns to the sign-in screen. You do not need to contact us.
If you have already uninstalled the app
Email privacy@quicksquad.app from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account.
We check every request against the account before anything is removed. That verification is deliberate: it is what stops someone else from having your account deleted. If we cannot confirm that the request comes from the account holder, we will ask you for more information rather than act on it.
We reply within five working days and complete verified deletions within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account.
- Your squads, people, sessions, session plans and templates.
- Your attachments — photos, drawings and documents — both the files themselves and the records pointing at them.
- Your group and your membership of it.
All of this is deleted permanently rather than hidden or archived. It cannot be restored afterwards, by you or by us, so please export anything you want to keep first.
What is not deleted
- Data on devices you did not delete from. The app clears its local copy on the device you delete from. If you are signed in on another device, that device loses access the next time it tries to sign in, but it may hold a local copy until then. Sign out there, or delete the app, to remove it immediately.
- Data from an earlier version that you chose not to move. If the app asked whether to move data from an earlier version into your account and you said no, that data stays only on that device and never reached our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. Remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.
- Server operating records. Our servers keep short-lived technical records of requests, such as timestamps and network addresses, which rotate away automatically. They are not used to rebuild an account and are not linked back to you after deletion.
- Your message to us. If you asked by email, we keep that correspondence until the request is handled, then delete it.
